Traveling Along the Gold Coast

The Gold Coast is stretches for 70km over the Australian land and is made up of the rolling waters of the Pacific Ocean and breath taking white sandy beaches. Gold Coast is the most beautiful place that you will ever witness, in all the world.

Along the shore of the Gold Coast, there are some fabulous towns, that are perfect for a filling a day with excitement and fun. This region is know for its year round moderate temperatures, making it the best vacation destination no matter what time of year you are visiting. Here are some of the towns that you will not want to miss while you are working your way down the Gold Coast shoreline.

Coolangatta: Perhaps the area with the most incredible beaches on the entire coast, Coolangatta is located at the south end of the coast at the mouth of the Tweed River . There are a few other towns in this region as well, such as Tugun, Bilinga, and Currumbin, but Coolangatta is a must see.

Surfers Paradise: One of the biggest tourist attractions on the Gold Coast, Surfers Paradise is a popular spot for swimming and families. Filled with lots of shopping opportunities and cafes there is much to do, see and taste in this Gold Coast town.

Main Beach is just north of the bustle of Surfers Paradise, yet offers a peaceful and tranquil environment, while keeping you close to many Gold Coast attractions. Tedder Avenue,has wonderful cafes, fabulous international restaurants and local shopping boutiques.

Southport: A region known as the business district, Southport is an incredible place to shop, filled with unique boutiques and shopping malls. Take in lunch at one of the incredible cafes or restaurants that this area has to offer.

The Gold Coast Hinterlands is the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely day browsing the local arts and craft galleries, dining at a casual cafe or country pub, and sampling local wines at a boutique winery. There are also fabulous waterfalls, walking trails sparkling rock pools and much more in this subtropical rainforest.
